Our Funding model

People's Collective India (PCI) is a volunteer-driven movement built on the principles of integrity, self-reliance, and public trust. We believe that meaningful social change should be sustained through ethical and transparent means. Rather than depending primarily on donations, PCI generates resources through sustainable social enterprise initiatives. We develop and market environmentally responsible products, including organic goods, eco-friendly cleaning solutions, and other socially beneficial products. Companies, institutions, and individuals who purchase these products not only receive high-quality, sustainable alternatives but also directly contribute to community development across India. The proceeds support projects such as improving government schools, constructing and maintaining public sanitation facilities, providing medical assistance to economically disadvantaged patients, environmental conservation, civic education, and other initiatives that strengthen communities and improve quality of life. PCI is entirely volunteer driven. No Founder, Director, Trustee, Office Bearer, or Member receives a salary, commission, or financial benefit from the organisation. Every rupee generated is managed through robust financial controls, independent oversight, and transparent accounting to ensure that funds are utilised solely for advancing PCI's mission and creating measurable social impact. By choosing PCI's products or partnering with us, organisations and citizens become active participants in building a cleaner, healthier, more accountable, and more compassionate India. We are not a donation-based institution, but a mission-driven social movement powered by social enterprise. This distinction will make us stand out and appeal to corporates that want to create measurable impact while purchasing products they already use.

To uphold these standards, PCI has established a comprehensive governance framework comprising independent internal auditors, external auditors, and an internationally reputed audit and advisory firm that conducts due diligence and certifies our financial statements. This multi-tier review process ensures that all financial transactions are independently scrutinised and comply with the highest professional and ethical standards. Transparency extends beyond statutory compliance. PCI will publish Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Annual Activity and Financial Reports, making them accessible to members, partners, donors, and the general public. These reports will provide a clear account of funds received, how they have been utilised, the projects undertaken, and the measurable impact created in communities. PCI is a completely volunteer-driven movement. No Founder, Director, Office Bearer, or Member receives a salary, commission, dividend, or personal financial benefit from the organisation. Resources are dedicated solely to advancing PCI's mission through community development, environmental initiatives, education, healthcare support, public infrastructure, and other programmes that serve the public good. We believe that trust is earned through openness, consistency, and responsible stewardship. By embracing independent oversight, regular public reporting, and uncompromising ethical practices, PCI seeks to set a new benchmark for transparency and accountability among citizen-led organisations in India.
